Whilst enjoying the hospitality of Charles and Rosie Moon for the umpteenth occasion, Alastair had the idea to bring this type of event to Cornwall; an event which has never been seen in the County before - the idea being to put on a musical concert with a difference.

To gather a mixed chorus of 250 people together with an orchestra and stars from the world of show business to perform in the largest purpose built auditorium of its kind Cornwall has seen, with all profits going to charity.

Alastair has directed events of a similar nature in various parts of the UK with great success and felt it was high time Cornwall saw this type of concert.  He feels that there is an abundance of undiscovered talent in the county and it was time the people of Cornwall and beyond were made aware of this.

Then came choosing a group of people who with their collective expertise could pull together and put on this enormous spectacle.  Suffice to say, that they are also close and trusted friends.

The first meeting where Alastair explained his idea in more detail was the 4th October 2004 at the Chairman's residence where Camellia MC Productions was formed and the rest as they say is history.......!
