To support the fundraising effort of the Killiow 2008 Music Spectacular, it was decided to hold an Auction on Sunday 7th September 2008 in our amazing tented village. Including dozens of exciting and unusual lots such as Holidays, Sporting events, signed memorabilia etc – and including some items that money can’t buy – the aim is to have an enjoyable afternoon and to raise substantial sums of money for charity. Hence the ‘Wishes and Dreams’ auction was born!
To support us Lodge & Thomas have agreed to be our auctioneers of the event. They are also very kindly producing a colourful brochure which will list all the auction items and their donors. The brochure, which will be sold for a nominal sum prior to the Auction as well as on the day will guarantee entry for the opportunity to purchase something extra special.
We are intending the Auction to be an enjoyable, relaxed ‘lazy Sunday’ type of afternoon with music and available light refreshments which we hope will encourage many, many people to take advantage of bidding for the wonderful (and unusual) items on offer.
Whilst we have already had some wonderful lots donated we are always on the
look out for more and if you think you have an idea for something you could
donate then please get in touch with us. Every idea will be considered –
especially if it helps us to raise substantial sums of money for our chosen
charities. For more information please contact:
